This LJ is friends only, and contains the results of my NaNoWriMo efforts, for years 2004 - 2008.
NaNoWriMo is National Novel Writing Month, which takes place every November. For further information, or to participate, sign up here.
My NaNos:
2004 - a background story for a character in a tabletop roleplaying campaign I run. Untitled. Total end word count: 12348
2005 - An agoraphobic narcissistic writer struggles with his romance with an extroverted socially conscientious young woman, as well as with his faith. Ultimately, a cautionary story of the power of the ego to corrupt and ultimately destroy even the best of intentions. Like Silent Raindrops Fell End word count: 50000 (EVEN)
2006 - A novelization of a campaign I ran for several years. The Celestial Song. End word count: 37,000+ (I don't remember the exact)
2007 - In the near future, a cynical detective who can see the supernatural gets hired by a ghost who has repressed memories of his death to investigate his murder, leading him to appear on a reality TV program on a space station in order to continue his undercover investigation. Tentatively titled Sensation Station. End word count: Very disappointing.
2008 - As of yet, very mysterious. Employees must wear trench coats when leaving the set. As yet untitled.
